Recently, I have started making image collages, also known as ‘Aesthetics’ on Tumblr, for some of my favourite book characters and my groups D&D characters.
Myself (@felixturtle_reads on instagram) and Sofia (@forbidden.books on instagram) are going to be reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Steifvater this month, starting in the next couple of days and going to the end of the month.

Yesterday, I was lucky enough to see Jamie Oliver give a live talk at the Sydney Opera House. He was charming and funny and cooked some amazing food (sadly we didn’t get to eat any), but we did get a live performance from the Wiggles! But cooking aside, Jamie was here for a reason – to promote the notion he refers to as ‘Food Revolution‘. The idea is that kids should be taught about food as early as possible, to cook it and to work with it – to recognise what is good for us, and bad; to learn tastes, flavours, combinations, even how to grow it. Hey guys, I have started up a Facebook page where I will be sharing my posts and other posts that I find interesting and relevant to my blog. Feel free to head on over and give it a like! https://www.facebook.com/felixturtledotcom
So this WordPress blog is my attempt at starting something new. Of course I have had blogs in the past, but this time I’m trying to create something that is less of a blog – though it will have blog-like entries – and more of a little corner of the internet where I can showcase some of the things that I am working on, as well as things I like and enjoy. I am currently embarking on a mission to do something creative everyday until December 31st, whether it be writing something, drawing something, creating something, planning something or photographing something. When I do something creative enough that I am proud of, I may upload them here as well. Suggestions are greatly appreciated! Consider this a pre-warning: This is my blog-space and if I need to vent, I may do so here. If you don’t like something you are reading – no one is making you read it, so feel free to close the window.
